Organizer

The term internal investigation generally refers to a structured, impartial fact-finding process conducted within an organization to clarify suspected misconduct or other irregularities. In this event, lawyers from Switzerland and France will share practical, experience-based insight into the key issues that arise at each stage of an internal investigation — from assessing whether an investigation should (or must) be opened, to determining appropriate disciplinary or corrective measures based on the findings, and including all aspects of the fact-gathering process in between. The discussion will focus on the employment-law questions that typically emerge during such investigations, as well as challenges specific to regulated industries, particularly the financial sector. The session is designed to be interactive, encouraging participants to engage, ask questions and share their own perspectives.
