What is GILW ?
The Geneva International Legal Week (GILW) 2026 is a premier gathering of legal professionals, in-house counsel, and pioneers organised by the Geneva International Legal Association (GILA).
GILW26 will take place on 9-11 March 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland.
Where is GILW26 taking place?
GILW26 will be held at multiple venues in the centre of Geneva from 9 to 11 March 2026. Here are the main locations:
- The main Conferences will take place at Mandarin oriental, Quai Turrettini 1, 1201 Geneva.
- There will be about 20Side-events taking place in different locations. Check the side-event programme for more information.
- The Welcome Receptionwill take place at the Palais Eynard: 4, Rue de la Croix-Rouge, 1200 Geneva.
- The Young Litigators Eventwill take place at the University of Geneva, followed by a networking event at the Café Lyrique, Boulevard du Théâtre 12, 1204 Geneva.
- The Closing GalaDinnerwill take place at the Pavillon Sicli: 24, Route des Acacias, 1227 Geneva.
All venues are easily accessible by both public and private transportation.
Where can I register for GILW26?
Tickets can be purchased on the tickets page. You can choose to purchase tickets for the entire event or for individual days. Tickets to the Young Litigators Event and to the Closing Gala Dinner can be purchased separately from the conference tickets.
Your registration includes access to about 20 Side-events throughout the conference (subject to availability) and the option to sign up for the Welcome Reception. Please note that separate tickets are required for the Young Litigators Event and the Gala Dinner.
Are discounted tickets available?
Discounts are offered to GILA members, affiliates, in-house counsel, and trainees. In addition, GILA members enjoy one complimentary pass with their membership.
Can I register for the Closing Gala Dinner or the Young Litigators Event without attending a conference day?
Yes, you can register for the Closing Gala Dinner or the Young Litigators Event without purchasing a ticket for a conference day.
Can I register for Side-events or the Welcome Reception without registering for a conference day?
Unless you are a speaker, registration for Side-events, or the Welcome Reception is only available to those attending at least one conference day.
I am a speaker at one of the main conferences. Do I need to buy a ticket?
As a main conference speaker, you automatically have access to the main conference on the day of your presentation. You can also attend all Side-events and the Welcome Reception. However, registration for the Gala Dinner and the Young Litigators Event requires separate tickets.
I am a speaker at a Side-event. Do I need to buy a ticket?
You do not need to purchase a ticket to attend the Side-event where you are speaking. However, access to other Side-events and Conferences will require a separate ticket.
Can you provide a letter of invitation for visa purposes?
Yes, you can request a letter of invitation during the registration process.
Is there a dress code?
There is no formal dress code for the conferences, but we kindly encourage attendees to dress in professional attire to ensure a positive and respectful atmosphere throughout the event. The dress code for the Closing Gala Dinner is cocktail attire.
